THE NAME CODE I.

The Path to Graceland

On Proof and Disproof

Many people are likely to totally reject the claims of THE NAME CODE books. They are likely to doubt the very existence of such things as prophetic 'name-messages'.

They might be inclined to feel that the central role given to Elvis Presley in THE NAME CODE books has far more to do with crass commercialism on the part of the author than any intrinsic 'messages' discernible in the famous singer's names.

Such initial scepticism is to be expected and indeed should be warmly welcomed if based on rational deliberation. It is to be anticipated that such Name Code sceptics will be able to be divided into two basic groups:

1. Those with at least some degree of Hebrew literacy.

2. Those whom have no knowledge of Hebrew at all.

Unfortunately, by any rational measure, those persons whom are totally ignorant of Hebrew have to be judged as functionally illiterate in regard to challenging the veracity of the main claims made in THE NAME CODE books. They may be interested in the subject, but their opinions carry little weight. They can hardly be seen to be in a position to make a definitive judgement one way or the other.

For those sceptics with a workable knowledge of Hebrew the situation is far different....and potentially far more confronting. The Hebrew literate sceptic knows that the words attributed to each persons 'name-message' as illustrated on this web-site are actually to be found in that name.

They will recognise that a perfect synonym for 'Watergate' is enclosed in the Hebrew spelling of NIXON. They will have to concede that references to '' ... fearing Babylonian missiles of mass destruction.. " can also be found in George Walker Bush's names.

The difficulty thus becomes how to account for such 'messages'. How did they get there?

The common sceptic's response is as follows:

''Given the natural ambiguities of the Hebrew language...anything is possible. Added to this is the liberal and unorthodox method of phonetic translation permitted under Name Code 'rules'. Given such latitude virtually any preconceived 'message' can be contrived into any given name. Thus 'THE NAME CODE' does not really exist...''

The answer sounds very convincing especially when coming from the mouth of a secular Hebrew scholar or a learned Rabbi. After all, they should know. Unfortunately for its exponents it is an explanation that is very easily put to the test.

If the seemingly prophetic 'name messages' only exist due to linguistic ambiguities and wilful contrivance ...then surely an equal amount of effort will duplicate such preconceived 'name-messages' in virtually any other name. Thus by literal or phonetic translation one should expect to create descriptive 'Watergate' messages rivalling Richard Nixon's from the names of Judas Iscariot, Osama bin Laden or any other random individual. One can also supposedly contrive references rivalling the historic aptness of George Bush's 'Babylonian missiles' messages from the names of Jesus Christ, Jimmy Carter or Homer Simpson.

If biographic name messages are really so easily contrived, the best name a sceptic could use to illustrate this fact is their own name. Such an act would demonstrate clearly that one did not have to look too far afield to find a random name capable of delivering dubious 'prophetic messages'.

The Challenge...

1. The Hebrew literate sceptic should contrive predictive messages from their own name alignments using the Name Code methods. They should strive to make them as autobiographic, occupationally accurate and descriptive as the messages found in the names of Presley, Bush or bin Laden.

2. Using one's own name alignment the sceptic should wilfilly contrive messages mimicking and matching the subject and detail of those found on this web site or in the Name Code books. For example, they should pretend that the person filling the office of 43rd President of America was blessed with a name identical to their own. By any reckoning that President is best remembered for:

(a) Being the son of a former president.

(b) Narrowly defeating AL GORE to win the Presidency.

(c) Being in office during the Sept. 11 2001 terorist attacks.

(d) Invading Afghanistan to overthrow Al Qaedaand the Taliban.

(e) Invading Iraq because of the fear of Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction.

How many of these defining events can be recognisably described from 'messages' extracted from the sceptic's own name plus presidential title?

How many of these events are recognisably described from the names of the actual 43rd. president, George Walker Bush?

Compile a score card. How often do the sceptic's name messages match or exceed those found on this web site?

How is it going ?

A Second Challenge...

Rotate the names of the seven American Presidents featured on this site by one place. In this way President Bill Clinton moves into the historic position now occupied by President George Walker Bush. President Bush is rotated back to 'become' Richard Nixon. Nixon becomes Ford; Ford becomes Carter ....

Contrive better Watergate Scandal messages from the name George Walker Bush than were found in Richard Nixon's names. Repeat the process for all the Presidents.

Assessing The Results...

Claims of lax translation methods and wilful contrivance are easily made but on investigation are soon found to be unsustainable. The fact is, the more one tries to wilfully contrive preconceived messages, the more one underlines the unique quality of those featured in The Name Code books.

The natural ambiguities of the Hebrew language do make it the perfect vehicle and venue for basing a code; that is the obvious reason it was used as the foundation language of The Name Code in the first place. But at the same time, a preconceived message cannot be wilfully contrived into any name.

Any Hebrew literate Rabbi, Israeli, churchman or secular scholar whom claims one can is either ignorant or duplicitous. This is comprehensively proved by politely asking him to demonstrate the ease with which this is done.

Hand him a pen and paper. Ask him to contrive a message descriptive of the current Iraqi War or rampant sex scandals from his own name.

He may exhibit a flush of anger. He will likely state that he has no time. He is far too busy for such childish games. He will probably now wish to quickly terminate the meeting. So now find another Hebrew speaking scholar and see if they have some further insights to offer.

Soon a response pattern emerges:

Those whom are most in denial of the claims of THE NAME CODE are also those whom spiritually, emotionally or financially have the most to lose. Very often they will deny the Name Code's existence without even considering it closely. They might claim that one can replicate such messages at will in virtually any random name ... but they will always artfully avoid demonstrating how it is done.

As such their criticisms are worthless.

Not all Hebrew scholars react negatively to THE NAME CODE .

Some admit that they have never seen anything like it. They are at once amused... impressed, perplexed and perhaps a little discomforted by the concept. This is understandable. The distressing fact for the secular and the faithful is that what they see manifest before their eyes is impossible to reconcile with traditional belief systems be they secular or sacred.

ON RANDOM CHANCE AND PROBABILITY...

Having proved that seemingly prophetic 'hidden messages' do exist in some names, and having proved that such messages are impossible to contrive at will ... then how does one account for their existence?

Here some people might take refuge in the random chance theory.

''The messages are there... but it is just a random occurrence.''

This explanation cannot be dismissed out of hand, but just what is the probability of such a thing happening by chance? To be honest, the odds are impossible to accurately assess. But with some of the names appearing in sequences, one can make an easy and accurate under-estimation of the odds if one considers them as a closed system much like a lottery draw.

Forty two American presidents carry recognisable predictive name-messages:

George Herbert W. Bush's message predicts a brilliant war with 'Babylon'.

That he possesses it and no other president represents 1 chance in 42.

George W. Bush's name message predicts a less than brilliant Babylonian War. ( 1 chance in 41 )

Only Clinton has rampant sex scandal messages ( 1 in 40 )

Only Reagan has 'Star-Wars ray-gun' messages. ( 1 in 39 )

Only Carter has 'no Semitic war of extermination' messages ( 1 in 38 ).

Only Ford has 'a president quits and Ford becomes president' messages. ( 1 in 37 ).

Only Nixon has ' Caisson / Watergate Building ' messages. ( 1 in 36 )

The cumulative odds of such a thing happening with just 7 presidents out of 42 is

42 x 41 x 40 x 39 x 38 x 37 x 36 = 1 in approx 136,000,000,000.

The random chance explanation seems most untenable.
