| THE
REACTION OF HEBREW SCHOLARS TO
THE NAME CODE:
In
January 1998 while still in the early stages of his research,
the author of THE NAME CODE
books travelled to Israel and interviewed four Hebrew
scholars. They were : Hebrew Language Professors Elisha
Qimron, Daniel Sivan and Shamir Yonah from Ben Gurion
University and History Professor Eli Bar Navi from Tel
Aviv University.
The
author showed the scholars his initial discoveries. These
included the clear parallels that exist between the extended
Presley family tree and that of the Israelite royal House
of David. He showed them the rudimentary name messages
that would later form the basis of THE
NAME CODE books.The video tapes of these interviews
clearly record the reactions of the renowned Hebrew scholars.
They
are seen to be most welcoming and courteous toward the
foreign author. They are also clearly amused and then
somewhat bewildered by what is laid out on the desk before
them. They
all see the 'KING' ELVIS PRESLEY
= MESSIAH, SON OF DAVID parallel as comically outrageous...
but when made aware of the names carried by Elvis Presley
and his immediate ancestors, all admit that an inexplicable
multi-generation historic parallel does exist. For anyone
fully acquainted with Elvis Presley's ancestry, Jewish
history and the Hebrew language the perfect parallels
cannot be rationally denied. Linguistically, the KING
ELVIS= KING SOLOMON, SON OF DAVID pairing is perfect.
History
Professor Eli Bar Navi ( later to be Israeli Ambassador
to France ) is openly amused. He is seen to admit he cannot
recall ever seeing a family tree like it. He says it seems
"..exceptional.'' With
a smile he admits '' I am not sure that I understand the
logic of it....but as far as the Hebrew is concerned I
have no qualms whatsoever.''
In
a separate interview the other three Hebrew scholars expressed
similar views. They too were shown the five generation
Presley Family Tree that perfectly paralled that of the
ancient Israelite royal family and climaxed in the pairing:
KING ELVIS = KING SOLOMON SON OF DAVID. Amused
and bemused, the Hebrew language professors declared themselves
to be 'surprised', 'astonished' and 'impressed' by the
extensive Presley biblical parallels and the research
that had uncovered them.
Not
all Hebrew literate scholars were to be as amused, open
minded and interested in the Presley biblical parallels
and their associated Name Code
messages as were these four Israeli academics. Many approaches
made by the author to discuss the subject of his research
were rebuffed. Letters were ignored. Doors were slammed.
Initially amused, one Australian Rabbi stormed from a
room, angrily terminating an interview when he saw the
extent of the messianic Presley parallel. He refused to
discuss the subject any further. Christian academics denied
the possibility of a 'Name Code'
but politely declined the offer to examine any proof to
the contrary. They were '..far too busy.'
Years
of further research were to fully unveil the true extent
of the Presley biblical parallels and the related Name
Code messages. By 2006 the
material filled two extensive manuscripts. It was at this
stage that the author made contact again with Professor
Daniel Sivan, who was now the Chairman of Hebrew Language
Studies at Ben Gurion University.
The
Professor willingly agreed to read and evaluate one of
the manuscripts. (Subsequently titled
THE NAME CODE I: THE PATH TO GRACELAND. )
The
Israeli Professor of Hebrew Language read the manuscript
and was again fulsome in his praise. He found the book
'fascinating' and the material 'astonishing'. He strongly
recommended it for publication ...but warned that many
people would find its contents '... no less threatening
than international terrorism.'
So
here it is,
terrifying or not.
THE
NAME CODE
is now out in the open where all can see it. The possibility
that individuals such as George Walker Bush and Tony Blair
carry prophetic name messages and acted out pre-determined
fates will undoubtedly be found to be a disturbing and
distasteful prospect by many people. (... including the
author. ) The suggestion that Elvis Presley was God on
Earth is also likely to found offensive by some of those
with conflicting secular and sacred beliefs.
The
sceptic may be of a mind to try and rip THE
NAME CODE concept to pieces; they may wish to prove
that it is a fabrication in every way. If this is their
wish, it is a mission that should be pursued with all
the intellectual vigour and rationality they can muster.
One
would hope however that such a mission will be based on
coolly reasoned argument and research... not on mindless
pious ranting and tearful hysteria.
Whatever
one's feelings, it will be found that disproving the existence
of THE NAME CODE is no easy
